Run 6 Product Features Notes
Standard Apple II form factor Card 3" x 6" Useable in any slot, (except 3 in IIe enh and IIGS).
Type II CompactFlash socket
(IBM MicroDrives works too)
I have tested with SanDisk brand CompactFlash cards. Provides 1 to 13 partitions (32MB each) depending on CF card size and firmware settings under ProDOS 8 ver:2.0.3.
Standard 40 pin IDE header connector Starting with V2.0 firmware two devices may be used on a single CFFA board.
3 terminal screw type power connection for IDE hard drives Some drives may exceed the power rating of the Apple's power supply in an already loaded system. I recommend the CF!
Cost: US$99.95 + shipping Run 6 includes a 16MB CF card per order (not per CFFA card).
User selectable firmware jumper selects between 6502 and 65C02 firmware versions. On card boot menu allows user to select number of partitions per device and which partition to boot from. All Apple II computers except //c are supported.
8K EEPROM allows 2 versions of firmware Firmware 0: 65C02 Ver 2.0
Firmware 1: 6502 Ver 2.0
