how to install System 6.0.1 from disk images to CFFA3000 CF

Hi all,

Ive created a 128mb .PO disk image with my CFFA3000 on my CF and I'm trying to install System 6.0.1 via floppy images to this .PO file. The installer does not detect the image .po file I created in the install process. Any ideas on the best way to do a fresh install of System 6.0.1 on my Apple IIGS.

Thanks,

Rob

I was missing the Initialise phase of the newly created .po file. All sorted.

Fyi - you can also find some decent starter images (fully installed IIGS) here.

It's towards the bottom of the page

I had forgotten about that post from David Schmidt. His instructions are always clear and accurate.

For reference, here is his YouTube channel with CFFA3000, ADTPro and other Apple2 related videos.

I originally used his ADTPro app to bootstrap my II+ using tape drive connector (audio in port) when I first pulled it out of storage (2005-2006 I think). I had no boot disks (another box) at the time so this was how I got up and running.
