Just out of curiosity what is the largest size CF card that will work with the CFFA3000? I'm looking at buying one from eBay but don't want to buy one that won't work.

The largest that I have personally tried is 4GB. You could probably go up to 32GB without a problem.
If anyone has tried larger that 4GB please let us know.

I know that the asimov Apple II disk image FTP archive is about 26GB, so I suppose there is a valid argument
for using a 32GB CF card, but in most cases 1GB is plenty.

Thanks, Rich. I didn't plan on getting anything larger than 2 GB but I figured I'd ask before I bought, that way i didn't waste my money.

Rich, I also have an older CFFA card from the summer of 2003, you sold it to me in May I believe. What do you think is the largest CF card that old board will support? I also noted that you (back then) recommended series SDCFB be used. Can something like a Sandisk 4GB SDCFH or SDCFJ be used?

And can a Sandisk 4GB SDCFJ or SDCFH be used with most recent CFFA3000 card?

Thanks! A satisfied customer of 10 years.
