I assume we won't have to reformat our existing CF cards in order to take advantage of the new features?

Yes, you should be able to upgrade any version2.0 board with the new firmware. Some minor features will require new CPLD logic image.

I am working on a way to be able to update the CPLD from the Apple II's game port with the addition of 4 wires from the game port to the JTAG header. But it is not working yet, and I can't make any promises about it just yet. I will post more info about that if/when I make more progress.

I will also be creating a new firmware for the older v1.2 boards, but they have 256 fewer bytes of space in firmware so some features will have to be dropped. I am not starting on that effort until the Run 6 order backlog is caught up.
