I was wondering if anyone has come up with a way to back up the Apple formatted CF cards on a PC.

YES! Check out http://www.faddensoft.com/

I had a chance to help out a little while this was in beta. It is very cool, and has native support for CFFA formatted CF cards. Pretty much a must have for CFFA owners with PC's.

I second Rich's comments.

I was able to back up my 48mb SanDisk CF card to my PC using faddenSoft's CiderPress. The card had two ProDOS partitions, which were preserved in the transfer. I could then open the backed up image in KEGS on my PC and continue right where I left off!

I think CiderPress can write an image back to the CF card, which would give us a quick method to transfer files from the PC to an Apple II. I haven't tried that yet.

This is one fabulous program (that complements the fantastic CFFA).
