CFFA 3000 and Zip Drive

Good Afternoon, I recently found a Zip 250 with a USB I/F. I checked it with my PCs and Macs and it works fine. Will the Zip Drive work like a thumbdrive if I plug it into the USB port of the CFFA3000 (power issue but I have replaced my IIgs power supplies with high-current medical grade power supplies.)? The reason I'm asking is that I was reading the specs on Ciderpress and I'm wondering if it makes exchanging files between a PC and my Apple IIGS any easier? But, now that I think about it, what's easier than a thumbdrive? What's a good use for a ZIP drive anymore? Crap, I can be slow to figure some stuff out.
