System 6.0.1 Disks

How can I make System 6 physical disks from images on the GS? I have all of the images on a USB Flash Drive and they all mount to the desktop. Is it as simple as just copying with Copy II+ or do I need to do something else. I found that installer needs to have physical media to work.
Thanks

Any block-by-block copy should work. But I'd expect the Installer to work as well...it would have to go out of its way to tell the difference between a floppy in a physical drive and an image assigned as SmartPort on the CFFA3000.

I'll try it here. -- Has anyone else had success running the System 6 installer from the 3K?

I was able to do two installs from the 6.0.1 disks, onto new blank images (4MB and 8MB) that I made from the CFFA3000 menus. (The new images were completely blank, and the install disk didn't offer to format them, so I Quit and ran System Disk > System > Start to get to the Finder, which did offer.)

How far do you get before running into trouble? Can you boot into the Installer from its disk image?
